Finding SendSites in Salesforce

Access SendSites from either a Lead or a Contact. Click the New SendSite button to start.



The SendSites Process


Creating a new SendSite in Salesforce uses a streamlined, step-by-step process.

Step 1: Select a Template
Step 2: Choose Content Sections to Edit
Step 3: Edit Chosen Content Sections (Sections are edited one at a time)
Step 4: Invite Recipient to Site

Step 1: Select a Template

The first step is selecting a template. Recent templates are displayed first. All templates are listed below.

If a template does not include any "review required" content sections, the green Quick Send option is available. Quick Send skips all content editing and jumps straight to the Invite step.



Step 2: Choose Content Sections to Edit

The Sections step allows you to choose what you want to change. Templates typically include both editable and locked content. Only editable content sections are listed. The only exception is placeholder content, which allows placement of locked content.


Step 3: Edit Chosen Content Sections

Once sections have been selected to be edited, they are placed into a step-by-step flow. Simply make your changes and click Next to proceed.



Step 4: Invite Recipient to Site

When all chosen sections have been edited, the Next button takes you to the Invite screen. Contact details are picked up from the Lead or Contact record. Add additional comments to the default invitation template, then click Send. The private URL will be generated and inserted into the email.
